Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to TBD (likely "EZ Hibachi" or DBA structure) ("EZ Hibachi," "we," "us," or "our") and the website at https://www.ezhibachi.com. We are a hibachi catering business based in Brooklyn, NY, US.

2. What we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information you give us — your name, phone number, email address, event date, guest count, and event location when you submit a quote request, booking form, or contact form.
  • Booking details — protein selections, dietary restrictions, address where the event will be held, and payment method information collected at time of service (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Automatic analytics data — your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time on site, collected via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for site performance and user-experience improvement.
  • Advertising signals — if you arrive via a Google Ads campaign, the Google click ID (gclid) and standard conversion attribution data are stored to help us measure ad performance.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your quote request, confirm your booking, and coordinate your event.
  • To send booking confirmations, updates, and reminder messages by SMS and email.
  • To improve our website, services, and customer experience.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, accounting, etc.).

4. Third parties we share data with

We share limited data with the following service providers — only what is necessary for them to do their job:

  • Email delivery — Resend / Gmail (to deliver lead notifications + confirmation emails).
  • Analytics — Google Analytics (GA4) for traffic insights; Microsoft Clarity for usability analysis.
  • Advertising — Google Ads for conversion measurement (we do not share contact info with advertisers; only hashed identifiers per Enhanced Conversions program).
  • Booking engine — ShuiLink Booking (book.shuilink.com) for managing reservations and calendar.
  • Payment processing — your card details, if used, are processed directly by the payment processor (Stripe, Square, or similar) and never stored on our servers.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies for:

  • Session management (so the lead form remembers your input).
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (anonymous usage data).
  • Google Ads conversion tracking (to measure which ads drive bookings).

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not function correctly.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your booking information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward (typically 7 years for tax/accounting purposes). Quote-request data that doesn't convert into a booking is deleted after 24 months.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
  • Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link in any email).

To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@shuilink.com.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults (18+) who are booking hibachi catering. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure third-party providers for storage. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to minimize risk.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on our website. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent update.
