Children's Day Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
EZ Hibachi was honored to cater the Children's Day Volunteer Appreciation Banquet, a rooftop celebration hosted by the Asian Community Center (ACC) to thank the volunteers who give their time to Brooklyn's children and families. On a warm June evening above 61st Street, our chefs brought a full live teppanyaki experience to the people who give back to the community all year round.
The menu was built to feed a crowd with care: vegetarian and cooked sushi platters to start, followed by live-grilled chicken, shrimp, steak, salmon, and scallop teppanyaki with fried rice, yakisoba, and seasonal vegetables — finished with a fresh seasonal fruit platter. From the 4:30 PM setup and safety check through the live cooking peak and full post-event sanitation, our team handled every detail so ACC's volunteers could simply relax and enjoy being celebrated.
Catering community and volunteer-appreciation events like this is some of the most meaningful work we do. If your organization is planning a fundraiser, volunteer thank-you, or community celebration in NYC, we'd love to help make it special.
